Andrew Boyd-Jones is Founder, CEO and Director of multiple companies. He has been involved in entrepreneurship across all facets of finance for over 30 years. He founded and currently serves as CEO of The Tellson Companies which includes Tellson Holdings, Tellson Securities (a FINRA and SEC licensed Broker/ Dealer), Tellson Equities, Tellson Corporate Services and Tellson Ventures. Each of these companies either provides financial advisory services or placement services for or direct investment in emerging market, micro-cap or middle market companies. Prior to his activities with Tellson, Mr. Boyd-Jones was affiliated with the UHNW Spencer Family Office (Holding Capital Group – HCG) and led initiatives in private equity, hedge funds and commodity investing. He also launched the HCG Mezzanine Development Fund as a Principal of the firm. Early in his career, Andrew Boyd-Jones founded Trenwith Securities, a FINRA-licensed Broker-Dealer that was ultimately responsible for raising over a billion dollars of capital and which was ultimately sold to BDO.
He started his finance career at Bankers Trust in LA executing the early transactions of KKR and Green and Partners. Over his professional career Andrew has participated in all facets of the deal business – as investment banker, lender, private equity professional, owner and partner.
