David, a lead mycologist/cultivator and photographer, developed a fascination for the world of fungi a decade ago. His interest was piqued while reading books on the subject and collecting mushrooms in the forest.
Intrigued by the medicinal properties of mushrooms, particularly the Cordyceps Militaris species, David embarked on a journey of cultivation. His successful cultivation of one of the most challenging species to grow further fueled his passion. In addition to his work with fungi, David has a 15-year background in commercial and advertising photography.
He has worked on large-scale productions with renowned brands such as Nike, Hollister, Microsoft, Skechers, Honda, and Target, among others. At Mycelium Enterprises, David is grateful for the opportunity to merge his dual passions.
